Nominations now open for the 2nd Asia Business Continuity Awards

Nominations officially open for the first-ever award to recognize excellence in the Business Continuity industry across Asia.

SINGAPORE ¨C May 1, 2008 ¨C Business Continuity Planning Asia (BCP Asia) Pte Ltd announced today that nominations for the 2nd Asia Business Continuity Awards (ABCA) are now officially open. The 2nd ABCA is slated to be held in October later this year, in conjunction with the 8th Annual Business Continuity Management Conference (BCMC) 2008.

This year¡¯s awards follows the jubilant success of the inception of last year¡¯s inaugural ABCA held on 30 October 2007 at the Meritus Mandarin, Singapore. BCP Asia is also proud to reveal that the 2nd ABCA 2008 will encompass an additional two brand new award categories. Further to that, an all new exciting and prestigious ¡®Platinum Award¡¯ is also in the works.
The ABCA was conceived with the intention to accolade individuals and organizations alike who have achieved excellence in prominent contributions to the growth and development of the business continuity industry. BCP Asia aspires to ameliorate the employability, productivity and service quality of business continuity professionals and industry players with the recognition the awards bestow.

Endorsed by Business Continuity Institute (BCI), an internationally recognized institute that accredits professional membership of BCI to its deserving members, ABCA will be the platform of archetype for excellence in the business continuity industry.

Moreover, it will also present an ideal opportunity for key players in the industry to gain exposure to new ideas, share best practices and benchmark against each other.

The awards will be judged by a panel of well-qualified and renowned professionals, who are highly esteemed in the business continuity industry.
