The management level analysis by which
an organisation assesses the quantitative (financial)
and qualitative (non-financial) impacts, effects and
loss that might result if the organisation were to suffer
a Business Continuity E/I/C. The findings from a BIA
are used to make decisions concerning Business Continuity
Management strategy and solutions.

Henry
Ee is the founder and Director of Business
Continuity Planning Asia (BCP Asia). In
his more than 13 years of experience in
this profession, Henry had held senior positions
in 2 international banks (namely, ABN AMRO
and JP Morgan Chase) as Regional BCP Manager
where he helped to roll out the Business
Continuity Program in Asia Pacific. Currently
he has been actively conducting and/or organizing
training in the area of Business Continuity
and Disaster Recovery.
Henry is the country representative
for Business Continuity Institute (BCI)
for both Singapore and China, a professionally
certified planner (CBCP and FBCI) by the
2 well-known institutions, Disaster Recovery
Institute International (DRI, US) and Business
Continuity Institute (BCI, UK). Since 2004,
Henry has been appointed as the senior consultant
for China BCM committee (CBCM). Recently
in the 2006 BCI Board elections, Henry has
been elected to sit in the BCI Board by
the BCI statutory members. He is also the
BCM auditor and trainer with SPRING Singapore.
Kenny Seow,
CBCP
Kenny is a Director of Contingency
Solutions Pty Ltd and is based in Perth.
He has over 17 years of experience of international
experience in disaster recovery, business
continuity and crisis management in the
banking, securities, logistics and public
services sectors.
He is currently an independent
consultant providing business continuity
support, training and advisory services
to the Western Australian Government. Prior
to this, Kenny was the Regional Head of
Business Continuity Management in Deutsche
Bank AG with responsibility for the development
and implementation of the bank¡¯s BCM program
across 16 countries in Asia Pacific.
Kenny speaks regularly at
seminars and conferences, and has presented
papers on business continuity in many countries.
He conducts courses regularly and has trained
over 1,000 senior managers and executives
from the public and private sector organizations.
Kenny is professionally
qualified as a Certified Business Continuity
Planner (CBCP). He has a Bachelor¡¯s degree
in Computer Science and Psychology, and
Masters degree in Business Administration.
He is the winner of the BCM Lifetime Achievement
Award in Asia in October 2007.
Nathanial Forbes,
MBCI
Nathanial Forbes
founded and manages the consulting, outsourcing
and placement firm Forbes Calamity Prevention
(FCP) in Singapore. He consults extensively
in business continuity planning, crisis
management and emergency response planning
for multinational companies. His clients
include AIG Insurance, BP, Celestica, Federal
Express, Gillette, OCBC Bank, Pzifer, Singapore
Exchange Ltd, Siemens, Wyeth Nutrition,
and Singapore restaurant group Brewerkz,
Caf¨¦ Iguana and Wine Garage.
From 1984 to 1992, Nat was
the founder and president of a US company
that pioneered electronic filling of US
individual income tax returns, using Electronic
Data Interchange and Electronic Funds Transfer.
In 1992 he sold the company to what later
became the public-listed US company Intuit,
Inc, publishers of the accounting software
Quicken and the tax preparation programs
TurboTax and MacinTax.
Nat is an MBCI (Member,
Business Continuity Institute) and the Singapore
National Representative for the International
Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).
He was the President of the Business Continuity
Group, a chapter of the Singapore Computer
Society from 1999 to 2001.
