  • 7 years after the launch of the first edition of ISO22301 in May 2012, the ISO committee has released the second version of ISO22301 in October 2019. In this 2-day workshop, we discuss the changes in the new ISO22301:2019 and what new requirements should a BC manager take note of when planning the programme and when preparing for the ISO22301:2019 certification. Also, get to know the challenges of transitioning to the revised standards.

    This is especially useful for BC team members who will be starting the process of a certification or re-certification audit to the new standards.

  • At the end of this course, you will be able to :

    • Be able to discuss the changes in the new ISO22301:2019 version
    • Understand why the changes were made and how to interpret the new clauses
    • Be familiar with the requirements of the new standards and be able to manage their own business continuity programme in accordance with the new changes 
    • Be able to revise their existing BCMS programme to be compliant with the new ISO22301:2019
    • Discuss the changes in the new ISO 22301:2019 version
    • Explore the reasonings on the revised clauses and how to interpret them for the business continuity programme
    • Analyze the requirements of the new standards and how it applies when implementing the business continuity programme
    • Discuss on the ways to incorporate these changes into the organization’s existing BCMS programme
    • Business Continuity Team members and individuals assigned to oversee the business continuity programme
    • ISO auditors involved in ISO22301 audits
